Cruise control

It has emerged that film star Tom Cruise satisfied his ambition to drive a Formula 1 car when he drove a Red Bull in a closed test at Willow Springs, California. 

"Tom's the real deal," said the 13-time GP winner and current BBC TV commentator. "I was surprised that he picked it up so quickly and is such an accomplished driver. 

Too bad he's not a racing driver. He surely has a lot of skills including the podium jump.

There's no sex in the champagne room

A group of Russians has scammed former F1 team boss Flavio Briatore to the tune of EUR 86,000. According to the Unione Sarda newspaper, they got off a superyacht and entered Briatore's ultra-expensive Billionaire club in Sardinia, charging 90 bottles of EUR 900 Cristal champagne to a Russian oligarch's account.

Apparently Flavio walked again in tangas at his party and those poor Russians needed to 'digest' the new Briatore look with something... Come on! 90 bottles? Only 90? I find this picture disturbing even after 300 bottles of champagne...
